What is Nadcap?
Nadcap accreditation confirms that a supplier has been audited according to strict criteria set by the aerospace industry itself and demonstrates a supplier’s process reliability in critical processes such as welding, heat treatment or testing techniques. It guarantees OEMs a reliable supply chain through standardized, expert process audits and minimizes redundant audits at suppliers. With currently 26 accreditations – from traditional special processes to modern testing methods – and an industry-managed approach, Nadcap remains practical, flexible and tailored to the requirements of OEMs.

Thanks to our Gold status in the Nadcap Merit program, Listemann is only audited every 2 years for Electron beam welding. We currently have silver status in the area of Heat treatment – our next goal here is also gold status. This shows that we have mastered our processes and have consistently delivered the highest quality for years.
What is the Merit Program?
The Nadcap Merit Program is a performance-based system that rewards outstanding suppliers with extended audit cycles:
- Standard: Re-accreditation every 12 months
- Silver status: Audit every 18 months, achievable after three consecutive audits without major NCRs and other requirements
- Gold status: Audit every 24 months, achievable after achieving silver status and two subsequent renewals without major NCRs and other requirements
