Listemann’s manufacturing competences are materials processing technologies for joining, Wärmebehandlung, coating and sintering. They enable a significant increase in component service life and an increase in efficiency in component production.
Joining not only enables the joining of two or more components, but also the in-depth use of different materials. As a result, easy-to-manufacture individual parts can be joined together to form complex assemblies.
With brazing and electron beam welding, we offer two complementary and sometimes interlocking joining processes that can cover an enormous portfolio of applications.
Heat treatment can be carried out either in the mass of the component or on its surface. In all cases, it represents an important finishing process, because it is the only way to adjust the performance properties of materials.
In addition to the entire range of vacuum heat treatments, we also offer so-called thermochemical processes, or heat treatment in inert gas or air circulation furnaces.
Coating is a finishing process that is used exclusively on the surface of components, primarily to improve wear and/or corrosion properties or to improve the tribological properties of components.
The Listemann Group offers two coating processes, the BrazeCoat process and laser deposition welding (LMD), which are aimed at very different applications. In addition, the LMD process can be used to manufacture components additively.
Sintering is used for the processing of powder materials, with the aim of joining the individual powder grains via heat treatment in such a way that a metallic component with high strength is created. It is not uncommon for sintering to be preceded by a debinding process, especially if the component has been formed from a mass of powder and binder.
We offer debinding and sintering as a process, e.g. on components made of metal injection molding (MIM) or components manufactured using the fuse filament fabrication process (FFF).

On request, we will be happy to support you in the complete production of your components. We take over the procurement of materials, coordinate the mechanical pre- and post-processing and organise the testing of the components for you in accordance with the required test procedure.
